Analog Output Types
Analog output for Wind Speed (AOUT1) can be configured as:
- Voltage output.
- Current output.
- Frequency output.
Analog output for Wind Direction (AOUT2) can be configured as:
- Voltage output.
- Current output.
- Potentiometer output.
Analog Output Scaling
You can specify the transfer function between measured values and
output analog values. You can select the analog output type as well as the
gain and offset used in the transfer function. For information on the
parameters, see Table 18 on page 82.
Table 14 below shows the factory default settings for the different analog
output modes.
Table 14 Factory Default Settings for Analog Output
Output Signal Output Scaling for
AOUT1 (wind speed)
Output Scaling for
AOUT2 (wind direction)
Voltage 100 mV / m/s 20 mV /°
Current 0.2 mA / m/s 50 uA /°
Frequency 10 Hz / m/s -
Potentiometer (WS425) - 0 … Aout ref = 0 ... 359 °
WS425 - voltage 8 mV / mph -
WS425 - frequency 5 Hz / mph -
For a different scaling, change the gain and offset settings, see
Configuration Parameters on page 81.
